Trombe Wall
A Trombe wall is a common way to get indirect heat gain. A single or double layer of glass about one inch in front of 8-16 inches of masonry. The masonry wall has a dark colored outside surface and the heat is stored in the walls mass. When indoor temperature falls below that of the walls surface, heat begins to radiate into the living space.
